Chat Issue

Hi Guys,

A few days ago the browsers have done an update which has broken the chat software. I am looking into it and will have it fixed as soon as possible.

Hi EM,

the chat issue was caused for the same reason as it was for ETO blocking.

It worked alright in the late evening, about the same time when ETO blocking was cancelled.

Hi EM,
I just got back online tonight with the new ISP and I missed you by about 20 minutes. I've been in there since and not experienced any problems.

The problem is only with some browsers.. it's an xml content type issue.

I click on the chat button and instead of the chat window I get
"Do you want to save this file, or find a program online to open it?"

Try a different browser like FireFox...it does not work for me in IE

i get the same problem as what ben is getting but only on IE8

there has been another issue since yesterday.

There is no sound, except for some cracking noise from time to time.

A few of us do not have sound. Did not hear a cracking sound.

Haven't noticed any crackling at all though, maybe the server is on the fritz?

Hi Guys,

Sound had to be disabled to get things working for chrome browsers..

The problem you are experiencing atferrari is something else. Maybe a caching issue?

Seem to have lost the sound , using Firefox/Mozilla , XP Pro

Eric, sound should be working again

atferrari: do you have flash installed? The chat uses it and if you dont have it install this could cause it.

I came here to tell that this morning I entered again. Gracias.

What was the reason? Why software is to be changed when it works already OK? Not a programmer myself I am curious. Why the changes? Pure headache as I see. (Maybe thinking that if it works why to fix it?)
