Position: Electronic Project Leader (m/f)
Company: Talent Management is searching for an Electronic Project Leader on behalf of our client, the SEB Group (known for brands such as Moulinex, Rowenta, Calor, etc.). SEB is a major player in the small domestic appliance sector. Their innovative drive has positioned them with several influential and complementary brands. Role:
Within the Electronics Research and Development department, as part of the consumer product development, you will be responsible for electronic projects, researching alternative technical solutions, and productivity (second source). You will manage and coordinate the efforts of a multidisciplinary team (Hardware & Software engineers and technicians, Procurement, Quality, Methods). A good understanding of the peripheral aspects and the business constraints of the project team will foster a climate of trust.
You will be accountable for cost, quality, and timeline objectives throughout the project process, and will intervene during the architecture, technical definition, validation, and production phases. You will identify project risks, cost estimates, project scheduling, team coordination, and reporting. During the development phase, you will lead the creation of prototypes, validation, and testing for hardware fine-tuning.
This position is based in Saint-Lô, near Caen (Normandy) -France , on a permanent contract (CDI).
Profile:
You hold an engineering degree or a master's in electronics and possess skills in embedded software. You have 3 years of experience in electronic project management for various industrial applications. You have a proven background in microprocessor-based embedded systems, and you are familiar with project management methodologies and tools.
A good level of technical English, both oral and written, is essential.
You are recognized for your analytical, synthesis, and argumentation skills. Your ability to manage priorities enables you to work on multiple projects simultaneously. As a true team player, you have a broad perspective and the ability to see situations in their entirety. Open-minded, you listen to your colleagues and can build on different proposals while adapting to various cultural environments.
