shaneshane1 New Member Jan 25, 2008 #4 I've used the LM339 quad comparator, and it was great!!! but when i got into pics i havent picked up a IC sinse, so i will probably fall out of practice using them ever again

Hero999 Banned Feb 2, 2008 #5 I like the LM311 as it has a high enough output current to switch small relays which is great if all you want is a thermostat or a light/dark activated switch.
