Hey guys can someone recommend a way to make a boost converter... i plan to power pic from 5v source.. @ 1A... i need to power a backlight to a LCD with 29v @ 20mA....
what IC or Parts or a mixure can i use to accomplish this?
use a https://www.electro-tech-online.com/custompdfs/2010/03/pm3600_series.pdf series connected with only only coil to the switch since you are exceeding the voltage rating of the chip (use this technique with a multiplier afterward to generate 300V with this IC and a ethernet transformer)
Thanks for the links... i think the TPS61040 will do perfectly... ill order it.. at $1.50 its not that bad. Ill get a couple and try to use em straight... 28v would be fine..
