is it possible to bench test an audi dash cluster before i commit to paying out to have a repair to confirm i have a faulty cluster, if so are there any instructions around to help
It can definitely be bench tested. It might not be easy to do depending on the vintage. I'm not familiar with Audi but most of the vehicles I work on have the information that the instrument panel displays supplied by the data bus.
