Ba479 Pin diode substitute

I need a Rf compressor.
Found an old circuit that uses a Ba479 pin diode as a voltage controlled attenuator, reasonably simple and just the job.
Ebay has them, but as usual they all want telephone numbers for them here in the Uk.
The circuit will be operating at up to 100Mc.
Pin diodes arent something I've played with much, any ideas on what I can use instead?
