guyz i need to charge a 100Ah lead acetate battery and want to design an intelligent charger for it using an avr can any 1 provide me the schematic for it plz

Battery voltage?
Where is the power coming from? 110AC, 220ac, 48dc???
Battery data? Charge curves and temperature data?

the battery is connected to an inverter.Battery type is SLA with 12V,100Ahr.The battery to be charged by using 220VAC supply to 12Vdc at battery.

Lead acid is the least critical type of battery to charge. use a 13 or 14V output from your mains 220V, and limit the current via a power resistor of 10 ohm or so.
if you want it to be "intelligent" you can build a small micro controller circuit that will cut off the charging when battery voltage reaches 13V for example..
