Auto-Greeting project help

I am thinking of building an auto-greeting circuit for my final project.
My idea for the project is using two sensors A and B.

A message will play when both sensors A and B detected a signal.

If sensor A detected a signal first then B, message 1 displays.
If sensor B detected a signal first then A, message 2 displays.
Both sensors are down, offline when either message is playing
and back, or online after finish playing.

Any ideas are appreciated

Once again Thank you.

what do you mean by 'playing a message' ...

a sound message ? or a display ?...
in the case of sound you have these IDT (changed name ?) digital audio chips on wich you can store a message...

and the sensors would be easely handled by a pic...

are you allowed to use a pic/other µC ?

ISDxxx "ChipCorder" available with 16...120sec recording capability.
The original manufacturer Internationale Storage Devices, nowadays Winbond.

Well then, google for the IDT devices at Winbond (thx Sebi).
You can record a sound message on them, and you can easely trigger playback with a pic...

Monitoring 2 sensors with a pic to see wich one was activated before the other is easy enough too...

Nigels Tutorials should get you started if you never played around with pic's before...
