The Nokia Pin out is Tip -> Speaker+ ring1 -> mic+ Ring2 ->speaker - sleev -> mic - If I tie both - together, cant I insert a 3 pole jack in place of a 4 pole jack... The trouble is that I am not able to find 4 pole jacks. Regards...

CynicalMan New Member Apr 2, 2008 #2 If you put the grounds together, you can use a stereo jack. tip-> speaker + ring-> mic + sleeve-> both grounds. If you want a jack with 4 connections, use an XLR.
