Hi
I am using a USB Programmer for Atmel 89S51/52 microcontroller. Is it possible to program AT89S252 with that as well?

Should be possible if the driver software has that chip defined.
generally the program writers provide algorithms for many chips in the 89S series.

AT89S8252 and AT89S53 are obsolete now. Check Atmel website.

New in place of these is AT89S8253.
and for ISP there isnt any difference between AT89S51/52 and AT89S8253 (apart from flash memory size). So, your SmartPro S51 programmer should be able to program this chip as well. Better to check with the manufacturer
