Any different between power supply and battery charger?

A power supply usually has excellent filtering to reduce hum and is regulated so its output voltage does not change when the load current changes.

There are many different types of re-chargeable batteries. Maybe you are talking about a charger for a lead-acid battery. Some do not have any filtering. Most do not have their voltage regulated.

See, they are completely different.
