I am interested what do others use for drawing schemes....I see your pictures here and I wonder how do you like the software you draw them with.
 
first i do a messy scribbly version on pen and paper then neaten it up using MS paint.

assuming by schemes you mean schematics...

Circuit maker (free student version)

it can be downloaded from the net

great program
make your circuit and test it as well then print it out
 
I use Circuit Maker 6 for schematics, and Ivex Winboard PCB for PCB design. I tried Eagle 4.1, and I did not like the program at all.
