Hello guys, have been a CD-Rom for sometime now.....these day my school require me to program a PIC chip for a sumo robot.
my bad teacher (which I think got bribe from MELABS) "ADVICE" us to use PIC basic pro complier.
since the school never teaches us any C, or basic langague (it is a Technology school) I cannot use those free Pic c - complier

he teaches us in the language of PicbasicPro, and for me to pay 100+ bucks for a program i only use once is out of question. so here's my question.

1. Beside PicBasicPro Complier, is there anything that could complie picbasic pro "format" code ?
2. is PicBasicPro format = Basic format ? or = C format ?
3. I know this is not a good thing to ask but If anyone willing "hook me up" with the program, please PM me.

Please understand my situtation, my teacher didn't tell us anything because he was bound by the rules. I hope someone here can help.

thank you for your time to read my poor structure english. Enjoy !!

You can compile PBP code online at **broken link removed**
It costs a reasonable $25 per month of use, or I believe you can compile a couple for free.I'd be willing to compile reasonable amounts of your source code too, if you sent it to me.

Basic

If you check this place out:

https://www.crownhill.co.uk/

you can find a "lite" version to their "Proton Pic-basic" which is similar to the Melabs basic and it is free, though is limited somewhat as to what you can do with it. They do have non-lite versions which you must pay for.
