Amplifying 1.5v to 7v

hi, im doing some project, and i forgot how to deal with transistors..

i want to amplify my 1.5v input to around 7v output.

how to do that with some sort of transistors and resistor only? (or with capacitor).

can please someone post a circuit diagram?
 
What is the supply voltage?
What transistors do you have?
What is the input signal source (impedance)?
What load does the amplifier have to drive?
Can you tolerate a fixed offset voltage between input and output?
 
supply is 9v.
I'm not familiar with transistors type, or serial. (what can you suggest?)
the load will drive a 6v relay.

The simplest method: opamp an two resistors.
You could use an LM358 in a noninverting configuration and a 10k and a 36k resistor.
 
Ok, I see now that what you need is a NPN transitor used as a relay driver (not an "amplifier").

You didn't say what the 1.5V signal comes from? ( I need to know this to see how much current the source can supply to drive the base of the transistor)?

I also need to know the resistance of the 6V relay coil? (Measure it with an Ohmmeter, or look up the datasheet)
