I have a 110v supply, I would like to run 5 or 6 fans spec as follows.

each fan is Rated Voltage : 48 VDC

Operating Voltage Range : 24~55.2 VDC

Starting Voltage : 24 VDC (25℃ POWER ON/OFF)

my question is can I link the fans in banks to run off 110v in series? what would be the easiest and cheapest way to power the fans, I am trying to avoid transformers.
I can arrange them in seperate banks in any combination if they will work.

Is your power supply AC or DC?

What is the rated power (or current) of the fans?

No, you cannot put them in series.

If one fan is blocked for whatever reason, the voltage across it will drop, therefore the voltage across the others will rise to unsafe limits.

Besides, 48VDC fans are probably not safety approved for direct mains connection.

Get a 48V SMPS power brick.
