ADCON1 Question

HI All,

When reading a port which you have configured for digital do you need to set your "A/D Acquisition Time Select bits" and the A/D conversion clock select bits? IF so exactly what do they do in digital mode?

In case your wondering I"m programming a PIC18F46J50 to read quadrature signals on port B. So every 171uS I have an interrupt go off to read the port pins.

I think the A/D conversion clock and time is only for analog pins.

You think right there for charging times in adc mode only
