ADC0804 LCD micro controller.. no output

HI
I am making a project in my college..
i got a program to interface adc0804 with microcontroller and then to show the result in the 2*16 LCD.

but for some reason the only output that comes on the lcd is " sensor data: "
after that i get nothing.

Please tell me what is wrong.

can anyone please help me with this..
im trying various versions and types of programs but to no effect..
i need some prog to interface ADC to uC.. then display output on LCD..
 
Well, the least you could do is tell us which microcontroller you are using? Schematics? You need to show some resolve. The program is not going to be served for you!

i have given the program im using in attachment..
theres something wrong in it..
im using 89c51
adc 0804

port 0 for adc connection.
port 2 for lcd connection.
 
dont have any schematics.. im working on it using manuals..

all i need is to debug this program..
