Hello
I am working with an automation project (driving conveyors, 120W), trying to deside between DC or AC motors. what i have fund so are AC motor the better chose, last longer, less maintannes, need no adaptor (AC/DC). Are there any advantages using DC motor in industrial applications?

Tanks in advance

The motor would be chosen based on the entire application. Your post is limited in what it covers. For many conveyor applications an AC motor can be a good choice, however, the same can be said for DC motors. Constant speed or variable speed? Unidirectional or bidirectional? Direct drive or gear box driven? It's all about the application and restraints.
