AC/DC power supply problem

Is it safe to use 4 voltage regulators (LM317) for each output?

the transformer is 2A with 9V output voltage, and the output voltage of the PSU is 6V.

what happened is, the diode on the bridge rectifier burns OUT!

What have LM317's got to do with the rectifier burning out?.

What rectifiers are you using?.

They are too small, use 1N5408's instead (or any of the 1N540x series).

What current are you drawing?

Look at the datasheet for the 1N4002.

above 1A, i'll follow the suggestion of sir nigel. by the way, is ok to use 3A rectifiers on 2A transformer?

It is a good idea to use 3A diodes on a 2A transformer.
