It is good practise to check with an Ohmmeter the values, especially when the red and orange look almost the same in colour and if you are in doubt about the Res. value.

Years ago I built a 300baud modem from a kit, and it used opamp filters to split the two frequencies, and it was obviously fairly crucial that you got the correct resistors in the right place!. As they were all 2% tolerance they were very hard to read, so I double checked every one on the meter.
