A whole World out there..

Hi Guys

Me being pretty conservative and all took time the other night to travel the Internet Highway looking for a Circuit Diagram...
I was shocked by all the stuff out there. I mean I am looking for a simple little electronic diagram for a 30 Year old Amplifier....

Porn sites tried to grab my attention...sporting sites tried to grab my attention....and more and more porn sites too.
It is no wonder that Parents are worried about their kids and the Internet...I stumbled across radical **** out there...not looking for it...it found ME.

I do not have Kids...if I did I would be worried..........

As a kid born in 1963.....I learned to play in mud..get dirty, have fun, enjoy rough and tumble antics...play outside, climb trees...fall and all have sore knees and elbows and all.......when I finished playing for the day, I was physically exhausted.

Not anymore. Today kids surf the Internet.....for recreation???

Maybe, just maybe, that is the reason why I am as stubborn as I am. I have a stuffed hand/fingers combination...

I am a rough and tumble kid though....I will be OK. No Doctor for me
Tough old Kid from the old school.

These days, the slightest little cold for todays generation etc... off to the Quack..

The days of living a life climbing trees, maybe falling...they dont do that....

Me, I am bailing out. As much as I love ETO and you Guys....reality has hit me very firmly in the face....South Africa is stuffed under Black majority rule.

So in order to preserve the integrity of ETO, and it's loyal Members....to keep the site clean and to prevent me being labelled a Racist..I have decided to rant on a Site dedicated to that kind of stuff.

I found it on my travels searching the Amp diagram. I never expected that I would find people out there that know where I am coming from, have experienced the problems and failures and everything that goes with the mess.

And are prepared to openly speak about them. That kind of Forum is rare and unique and non Electronic related.

You Guys have been been really good to me here. Have understood my frustrations and lot's more.

So, in the interests of ETO and it's continued success...I am baling for now.

I will be back when South Africa has a proper leader respected by all.

Might take a while...but I will be back.

Sorry to hear of your intent to leave. Is there any particular reason you can't stay active on multiple forums? I have accounts on several electronics forums (ETO, AAC, 4hv, TU), several programming forums (StackOverflow, Microchip, Arduino), a couple of automotive forums (Bimmerforums, for one), and several computer forums (Gigabyte, SevenForums). Why leave one just to join another? I can't imagine your attention span is that bad

In any event, I wish you the very best, and look forward to you returning soon.

I am already back briefly to clarify stuff. Missed you all already

You see I have started hating repairing things for beings that are able to even bend a normal genuine Brass tap....bolted to the wall and all. Somehow one of the Geniuses here managed to bent the top part of the tap...now it starts spurting water when any pressure (like a washing machine) is hooked up to it....

The list of non tv related stuff is endless. Never mind the actual reason why I am here....namely to try and discuss TV stuff.

Just today, the guy running the factory upstairs, had his lunch eaten by a hungry fat woman working here.... he was not back in time....so she scoffed, stole it...

He caught her on her way out and she had to replace with food she had to buy....

And there is much more where this comes from. But, I cannot always be polite and nice, like at ETO.

I need to swear and rant and call these beings what they need to be called on a Forum that is dedicated to that kind of stuff. With other people who understand my situation/circumstances....people who have seen and witnessed this kind of primitive...ape like....behaviour.

Believe me I love ETO as you all know....but I will not put you Guys through this. It will always end badly.

So the break is called for.

I have a battle to fight. Wish me well my Friends. Love you all

You are my friend and all. And a Mod.
Thing is, I have become Radical lately. Like seriously hating constant stupidity.

And because of that...I am afraid that I might just say the wrong thing here...and get all into crap. I would not like that.
Especially if on Racial lines.

I mean that. In South Africa, we were good to go in 1994. The Whole World was watching. We were going to prove that XXXXX can not stuff up another Country. Especially not South Africa....rich and abundant. Plenty food for all, freedom for all.........

True's God, 20 Years later....everything that a XXXXX has touched or been involved with has either been stolen or completely broken.

So us proud South African's are hobbling along just biding our time waiting for a PROPER leader..

Zuma's time is about up. His lies and deception and all scandals and corruption and thieving and just generally being a normal XXXXX with clout are about to end.

I feel the need to swear. I am going to the other one and will swear there.

Story goes that this guy was playing TF2 (A game). Everyone made fun of this guy (who said the above) but someone stuck with him for good times. He then had to leave. Presumably he was Arabic. I'll leave it up to you where it came from (The source has some swearing involved).

One forum solved the "talk about anything" with a "sort of invite only forum" VB has them, so XF probably has them too.
You basically take people with a huge number of post and let them run free from the internet's prying eyes.

It does add a sort of clique aspect to things, but it's really unmoderated hidden socialization. It worked OK.

Unfortunately I got worn out with all the trolling and being called a troll regardless of what I said or to whom I tried to help so I backed off and you know what? The same people who thought I was the problem just went and found a new person to blame.

Hmm.... Just maybe it wasn't me afterall.

Okay really its because I have a job in the oil fields now that has me out for 15 days at a time and when I am home I have far too much to do in my six days I have off to put much effort into coming here to rant.
