Hi there i am trying to use a Velleman P8055 Dev Kit **broken link removed** to controll a camera Pan & Tilt Head via USB.
The problem i am having is the analogue outputs on it only provide 0-5Volts, i need to amplify that so i can send 0-24Volts, this is only a controll signal and doesnt actually power the motors so it will be very low current.
Any advice on how to amplify and step the voltage up and any reccomended parts would be great. Thanks!
You could use a rail-to-rail op amp such as the LM8261 Digi-Key - LM8261M5CT-ND (National Semiconductor - LM8261M5/NOPB) with a 24V power supply and a non-inverting gain of 4.8: feedback resistor from output to - input of 38kΩ, 10kkΩ from the - input to ground. The 0-5V signal is connected to the + input.
