Solution is called a multiplexer circuit.
 
What sort of inputs? You could use parallel in, serial out shift registers like this one from NXP Semiconductors if you need to save pins.

What exactly are you trying to do?

You could use 2 74HC240 Ic's Thats what first comes to my mind. But maybe someone knows of another way.
 
Thank you Brevor, that is what i was thinking too.

If there is a high logic on one pin, and there is high impedance on the other, if we connect the two, what will be the output logic ?
