Hello all;

First time to these forums, and sadly all I have is a question. As the title states do any of you know where to get a 4026 decade counter or something similar? I'm making a random led flicker circuit and I've ran into a snag with my 7447's

Thanks in advance

Thank you Mneary

Every North American electronic parts distributor has CD4026 ICs.
Since you do not say where you are then the part might not be available on Mars or in a 3rd world country.

A 7447 is extremely old and needs a fairly high input current which a CD4026 cannot drive. Instead use a CD4511.
