HI Guys.

Im very interested in electronics and am eager to learn about the subject. I need to design and test a 3rd overtone crystal controlled oscillator for 43,66 MHz from a 9 volt supply using the Pierce topology and then repeat the exercise using the Driscoll topology for the oscillator.

I've found some texts on the subject but am quite lost.
I need to use a mid point biased BFR92A transistor? How do i do this?
What kind of circuit would i have?
How do you get 3rd overtone??
I'm not sure what kind of pierce configuration to use?
And i have no idea what the driscoll topology is?

Plz help me guys. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
