27MHz AM Transmitter design

Hi all,

I am currently designing an 27MHz AM transmitter as part of my project. Picture attached is my design. I am seeking for the circuit improvement and also any mistakes in the design that can be corrected because I am going to implement this circuit. Any comments are welcome.

Both C2 and C4 are variable capacitor ranging from 2pF to 40pF
All transistors used are 2N3904

BJT2 is saturated. This stage will have no output of its own. All signal appearing at the collector will be leakage through from the oscillator. It will not be modulated.
