I am looking for a counter that counts to 16 or higher that only has one pin high at a time in order to drive an LED dot matrix.

Thanks

I know I could do this, but I would really like to know if there is a single IC that can. The reasons for this are saving space, money, and coding complication, among others.

It should, but I'd rather have specific ICs, than have to program a microcontroller.[/QUOTE]
