    getting a constant a current

**broken link removed** if i series an ammeter in the emitter the current in the emitter side of the transistor is the same as the current in my load? is this right?

    getting a constant a current

here is a new circuit i get a constant Vout and Iout but the output current is too small and i need at least 200mA .how can i amplify it ? if i change the value of the resistor in R1 to 10Ω but it gives me a high Vout  thanks

    getting a constant a current

why i get a mV as output? here the current is not the same and it not limits it max input Voltage high high input Voltage or i maybe wrong in the circiut ?

    getting a constant a current

@alec i cant use IC or OP amps as a condition @ doug **broken link removed** can limit the current in my circiut.. even i increase and increase the voltage?

    getting a constant a current

@chris i need a constant voltage of 5.1 with a current capacity of up to 200mA ...no regulators @doug i guess the circiut is only applicable when there is load :(

    getting a constant a current

i am making a simple supply with no use of regulators that can be inputed by 6v-9v and will regulate a 5.1v w/ a current of 200mA ..and there are two conditions a)w/ load-R2 is not remove b)no load-R2 is remove or short circiut

    getting a constant a current

200mA a sample current rating from the circuit is there any adjustments in the circiut that i can make to make it possible?

    getting a constant a current

thanks guys how can i maintain a current if no R2 in the circiut or no load? i tested it on multisim i remove the R2 in the circiut and it gives me 0A how can i make a same current like 200mA with R2 and 200mA with NO R2 in the circuit? **broken link removed**
  9. R

    getting a constant a current

what if i tap my load in the emitter side that can be my Vout and Iout?..ive checked in the multisim and it gives me sufficient output:confused:

    getting a constant a current

    here sir

    getting a constant a current

should i tap my current out in the emmitter side same as voltage out? or in the collector side ?
  12. R

    getting a constant a current

how to get a constant current like 200mA if the input ranges from 6v-9v.. is this possible?
