    Flow Measurement of water

I saw my father once developing a liquid flow sensor, by that time was not water, but gasoline. He was trying to measure the car gas consuption, you know, 20 years ago there was no comnputers on board like today. He just used a differential temperature measurement method, that was nothing more...

    touch dimmer table lamp

I already built a touch dimmer using a dedicated IC S566B by siemens. Example scheme below. This one is more complete that what you're saying. One touch turn ON, keep touching will increase the power slowly until you take your finger off. If you keep touching it will get the max peak and then...

    Traffic Light circuit building problems

Triacs are designed to work with pulsing trigger, that means you shouldn't connect it directly to the 555 and that's why all triacs triggering uses a opto or transformer interface. The triac trigger should be done by spikes of curret and because you are switching AC (60Hz), it have to be...

Where did you find the fisrt low power ones? I want to take a look closer to it. Nilo

    Inputs

On either circuits I posted before, use VCC as 5VDC and R1 as 1KOhm. For the first one RB=100KOhm and for the second one RB=39KOhm. It should be able to give you what you need for the imput of either 12 or 24VDC. If boucing turns a problem, just split the RB into two resistors(Rb1=Rb2=Rb/2)...

Triac? (Controlling light bulb with micro)

Hey hey, why to be so complicated? Triacs are mostly recommended if you want to trigger the load in high speed, like shaping the 60Hz wave form(dimmer do this) or switching something quickly. If you just want to switch a load with slow rate (less than 1 time per second), use a relay. Just...

    Inputs

It looks like this would help. I'm assuming your imput (vout) is always active with "high" level. The VCC value will of course depends on the Vout high level you want. The resistors on the VCC R1 will depend on the current you need on your circuit imput (vout). If you have high impedance...

    Where do I start???

One very usefull acessory for any electronic starter would be a proto-board, that just for you information can be found in the link below https://www.globalspecialties.com/powered.html This device can be used as the first step on mounting electronic circuits, especially prototypes, before you...

Help on fixing my VCR please...

In fact all depends on wich VCR model and brand you have. What I can do is to give you couple most common failures I foud so far that could be the case here. 1)The sensors that detect the tape wherever you push it in are usually located or in the top or right side of the intake comparment. I...
