Faulty heat air gun (dc motor) - problem to locate fault due to Intermittent fault [unrepairable]

Yes, I agree. But running this heat gun for hours just for it to maybe enter faulty state, make for a very costly bill from the power company.

Faulty heat air gun (dc motor) - problem to locate fault due to Intermittent fault [unrepairable]

Measurement already done when running normal, if you read what I wrote the main issue is actually the lack of ability to provoke the fault at will. If the fault occur, and I then open it up for test - the heat gun operate normally and thus cannot be tested. See the picture attached to the first...

Faulty heat air gun (dc motor) - problem to locate fault due to Intermittent fault [unrepairable]

Yes, that sounds likely as both settings are affected. In practice this means the heat gun in practice are non-repairable as opening the heater require cutting/breaking off the plates being kind of popped in place.

Faulty heat air gun (dc motor) - problem to locate fault due to Intermittent fault [unrepairable]

Ok, maybe I try to open the heater tomorrow. Anyway, this is how the internal wiring is done inside - but without details of the heater, it ain't very useful.

Faulty heat air gun (dc motor) - problem to locate fault due to Intermittent fault [unrepairable]

Hi. I have this simple hot air gun that have a fault where the blower motor suddenly runs slower mid operation for no obvious reason. Disclaimer: When I describe the loss in power and try to put a number on it (i.e. half power) - this is only due to audible sound, vibrations etc. that can be...

    Curved lines in PCB design

The term might differ depending on the software used. For Inkscape (a vector graphics editor, not kind of CAD software) this workflow will then be using the boolean operator Subtract.

    Curved lines in PCB design

Disclaimer: I haven't any usable experience with PCB software for this particular issue. But - if there is PCB software out there, or PCB manufacturers that accept .svg filer or PDF files, I can propose a non-standard solution. A drawing software called Inkscape should be perfect in order to...

Cable replacement. May I use speaker wire to replace the present wire in my garage door opener?

The one thing about those cables is the waste number of cords, make them way more prone to short on the terminal (because the one thin that you didn't saw) - screw terminals are the worst in my opinion. So, I'd say the answer really depends on the kind of terminal you put the cable into. You...

How this ethernet events work ?

Ok, so you do have dynamic assigned IP address. But good news, it's probably nothing wrong with the connection itself because the network adapter has already got IP address, and that requires a physical connection being established. The next thing you can try out is to disable IPv6, it's very...

How this ethernet events work ?

Ok, we can probably do easier - assuming you have Cinnamon desktop (also similar for xfce) do this: Somewhere on your menu, there should be a network symbol. Click on that symbol and bring up "Network settings". Select "Wired" (Cinnamon specific) in menu on left side. There may or may not be...

How this ethernet events work ?

The hash symbol is not a part of the command, it is used to symbolize that the command is run as root. I.e. you actually write "sudo ifconfig" in the terminal, and get prompted for super user password.

How this ethernet events work ?

Ok, what do you get from output when run # ifconfig from terminal ? Then you can run 'nmcli con show' - if the word 'auto' shows in front of the name of the current connection (list of several connections may be visible here) then you probably have it set up to automatically receive IP address...

How this ethernet events work ?

I assume you're talking about wired connection. Please answer the following question What OS do you use, and what laptop model ? In the TCP/IP settings, does your ethernet port use static IP address or automatic ? Do you use a proper cat5e cable or some home made cable solution ? Have you...
