L297/L298 can handle max 2A, but to drive stepper at e.g. 10A, CAN I add one mosfet to each L298N output pin(2,3,13,14). So mosfet will handle 10A.
Can it work to drive stepper at 10A with L287/L298?
How about if I run L298 with 12 or 15 V (Pin 4) and logic supply 5V (pin 9)?
I tried to google "high side h bridge driver". I could not find any. Do you mean IR2104? Please suggest one or more if it is not.
You can also suggest any schematic using "high side h bridge driver" with Mosfets.
My bipolar stepper motor has 3 ohm winding resistance. I want to run it at 40-48v, so amp will be b/w 13.3A-16A.
I also have L298 L297 driver but it can work max 48V but not with 13.3A-16A. Am I right?
I found the driver attached in the image. Please guide me, whether this driver can work at...
I want to create dual H-bridge using Mosfets for stepper motor that needs to run at 30-40V & 10-14A. I have N-P mosfets to work at more than 10-14A.
What amp rating of diodes should be to use in this dual H-bridge according to application requirement.
I have 10A diodes, is it better to use...
You and other helpful members are really great here. I am here consulting about selecting suitable logic chip, driver, MOSFETs and other things, that is what I'm doing here. I really apprciate all members here.
Can I use **broken link removed** h.bridge after SN754410 or L298 as described above...
My resolution is 133 full steps/mm, I think it is very much good resolution. I also read that full steps are more powerful than half or one-forth steps. So there is less possibility missing any step.
But I have not experience whether it is 'very much good' resolution or not. Because I did not...
Yes, you are right. I also want the same. But I just want to specify which parts are well matched to my application.
If I increase the volt i.e. 40v (40v/3 ohm = 13.3A), that is why I want to use NP-Mosfet H-bridge. I think that without increasing the volt at most 40V, I may not be able to...
I think IRF4905 PMosfet is another equivalent one for IRFZ44n NMosfet. Is it?
If not, then which PMosfet is equivalent for IRFZ44n?
If there is not any equivalent PMosfet suitablly for IRFZ44n, then which N&P Mosfet (more than 50V & 30A) combination is suitable for full h-bridge?
It is just my idea if 4027 & 4030 can handle 55.42 CPS switching speed or not. Do you think that it really can handle the above switching speed?
I have enough number of IRFZ44n (n-channel) and I only need to buy its equivalent p-channel IRF5305 to build full h-bridge.
So should I increase...
Hi, Spec,
The mosfets shown in circuits are not a problem, they can be changed later. My cnc hardware spec are:
200 steps per motor rev, v-shape lead screw with 1.5mm pitch, so 133 steps/mm, I need about 5000mm/minute speed using Mach3.
I think this 40xx chips may not be able to maintain above...
