does anybody know if a standing wave can be filtered to leave its original sinewave before reflection????
was thinking about using a bandpass filter but im not even sure if the idea will work....

does anybody know if you would be able to use phase lock loop to take a sample of a standing wave (produced from a guitar) in order to compare its intial frequency level with a reference frequency (produced by an oscilator)

ive only got a £50 budget to come up with the proto type..... :oops:
the distance doesnt have to be massive for the prototype as long as i can show that it will work in thoery over a long distance.
the possiable tracking device will hopefully also work on this principle..
