Hi, I want to build a VCO for digital audio synthesis. I am finding it hard to find an IC that is still in production and widely available. For example the ICL8038 is very hard to find. Can anybody help me?
For digital audio synthesis I would use DDS (Direct Digital Synthesis). For most audio, I would consider the ATTiny25, with an 8-bit PWM that can run up to 64MHz.
