It's a 16-pin DIP package. I suspect it's a transistor driver array. Does anyone have the datasheet? My search attempts failed.

ULN2082A is a general purpose NPN 7-transistor array in a DIP-16 package with a common-collector configuration. I know that Allegro made it but has now obsoleted it. It was a direct replacement for the CA3082 made by RCA, Intersil, and others.

**broken link removed** is the datasheet for the Intersil CA3082, which should help you out somewhat... :)
