microcontroller programe.

i m doing project on Digital fare meter. i hav problem in programing..i used IR senson which give HIGH output to count pulse of revolution of the wheel. the no of pulse multiply a constant give rate. But i can't make the programe.pls help..the fare is disply in LCD.
