I have been making 400 to 700 watts power inverter. Using 555 timer, CD 4027 IC, TIP transistors and RFP 50N06 FETs. The Inverter uses two transformers one 12 0 12 (centre taped transformer) primary volts and 230 secondary volts. And another one for battery charging.

Is any body with idea :-
1) To improve 1.5Kw or and above.
2) To enable inverter to use one transformer for charging and power output.

Best regards
Hussein

Please post a scematic.

A CD4047 IC makes a perfect oscillator/driver for an inverter. A single resistor and capacitor makes its oscillator and it has a frequency divider for a perfect square-wave, and a direct output and an inverted output.
