How many Revs/Sec could I go with a stepper motor about 1' squared in size with a LiPo battery pack or of sorts. 1 REV = Spin 360 degrees clockwise -> stop -> spin again 360 degrees clockwise. Would atleast 20 Revs/Sec be logical?

This depends a lot on the stepper motor, the drive circuitry, the load and the accuracy required.

Mike.
