Hi all,

is it possible to find the frequency of the incandescent light bulb will flicker ?

If yes, what is the formula to work it out?

Thanks

50 hz power will cause 100hz ripple in power. F=fX2

Question for you; if the voltage and current is at 50hz, then why is the power at 100hz. (voltage X current)=Power

Incandescents do not flicker hardly at all. The thermal time constant of cooling of their filament is too slow for them to cool much before the next half-cycle comes along...

LED Christmas tree lights flicker LIKE CRAZY! Something like LED car rear lights.
