a/d conversion16f877

hi all. first time i've used this so forgive me if i stray form protocol.
i'm using a 16f877 and wish to read the a/d pin RA0. Initially i'll just connect the wiper of a preset varying from 0-5v just to test that it works. After conversion the result will be fed to an lcd display. My question is, can anyone help me with the code. It needs to be pi c(or wiz c) as it will be incorporated in an existing program.

To the OP, as I don't know either pi C or wiz C, I'm afraid I am unable to help. If you make an attempt at the code and post it here then someone will be able to help.

Posting on the PIC C forum would also help as you're using PIC C to compile your software.
