Followup to Nokia GTG4349 PSU: smaller PSU's and

Blog entry posted in 'Teardowns', June 21, 2013.

I made other post for these, as these are somewhat other matter, and there is already enought text in previous post about main PSU, and there would be couple too many photos too....but:

Now, The main PSU, GTG4349 powers these smaller ones, and they of course have similar bizarre connectors. They were just pushed in place, like computers expansion cards. logic boards have same connectors too. So, there would be quite work to make any use for them, but i dont dis-assemble them just yet.

The smaller PSU's have power switches, bit strange looking, and rated only for DC, at least it says about hertz: dc. Other than that, they seem to be, SMPS's. In these smaller ones, are two tl494's, many coils, which have average gauge wires. Also, average size caps, ''russain'' style diodes for rectifying, probadly, and main power handling is controlled by BUX43, beefy npn transistors, mounted in heat sink. Rectifiers are also mounted in HS. Also, there is pretty much same LC-filter, only smaller one.

About logic boards, well, there isn't really much to say, they are full of logics, surprise, 74' series. Also, bunch of transistors, caps and other discrete components.
Boars are mainly de/coders, pre-stages, and such. I wanted to preserve too many photos, so i took only one photo, pretty much all boards in one box.

Little afterwords, i did find 19.3v/3.4 amp laptop PSU, only for 1€, cheap, i think, and it works! haha...

That's pretty much it, nice find, scavenge succesful! :).
