Z8 is the ORIGINAL micro controller from Zilog... I thought you'd be lucky to buy one let alone simulate one..

You would be better off with something current...

I think they stopped making them back in the 80's


The eZ8 encore is the new micro.... There are tools avalable on Zilog's page.

I think I have one with "basic" burned into it. Something like a basic stamp. I have not seen it at least 20 years.

Z80 is the microprocessor.... Z8 is the microcontroller...

The Z80 was an enhanced 8080 mincroprocessor clone. The Z8 was the first micro controller.
