As a person just now interested in electronics, I searched all over for the best book to learn from, and I found this. It looks pretty intuitive, and I also got the student manual from it. Looks like I can take the course in college and already have the book. If anyone else has it, can you post what you think of it here?

I have it. I consider it an excellent text for beginners & good reference for everyone else. Horowitz & Hill also discuss practical aspects of electronic design. You won't get alot of practical information from school.
