xray and electronics

i am wondering if there is are any link between xray and electronics in terms of application of xrays in the aspects of electronics.if there is a detailed article or link where i can find this then i would be really appreciate it.
 
The applications of X-rays in the production of electronics are many. They can be used to examine the atomic structure of materials like silicon wafers to check for correct dosing or to look for contamination or defects.

Unless it has high voltage and vacuum (like a old tube color TV) there's not much in modern consumer electronics to worry about IRT x-rays.

I would be more worried about sticky tape. ;)
