The Christmas lectures from the Royal Institution are running this week on UK,TV channel Five.

Anyone with an interest in semiconductors may find it interesting.:)

Must admit didn't forsee that..

Didn't realise that M Faraday discovered the semiconductor effect in 1823.

Many years ago I used to go to the Faraday lectures in Sheffield.

By the way the lectures are on TV, about teatime TV5, for the next few days.
