Would it be possible to use positive feedback to improve the gain of this RF amp?

I was thinking about running a line from the collector of Q2 to the gate of Q1 with a pot as a resistance to control the amount of feedback. Would that work? It seems like I might need another capacitor somewhere too.

It would not work as there is no signal on the collector of Q2. Q 2 is an emitter follower which does not provide any voltage gain. It does provide current gain which reduces the output impedance of the circuit. It would be better to add another voltage gain stage rather than attempting to use positive feedback.

Les.
