Wireless Project

I don't know much about wireless electronics, but I'm looking for more information on building 2 small devices which are connected via wireless, and when the devices are seperated at a specified distance an alarm would sound on one of the devices.

ANY information on any hardware or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Buy the wireless product in a children's clothing store. It is cheap. Take it apart and see how they made it.
