Hello All:
I am asking for some advice regarding home automation with a uC and getting an interface on a mobile device.
I hope to have home security run by a PIC connect via the internet to a wireless device and also send updates and receive instructions.
Also is it possible (Zigbee?) to achieve a similar system w/o using the internet in a sort of local area wireless?
The Android platform looks like the most likely platform.
What are the capabilities I would have to develop/ integrate to make this a reliable system?
