Has anyone tried using winbond speech synthesizer with "free style" speech rather than the "preset speech" with bitbanged i2c.
I'm trying out Nigel Goodwins i2c tutorial and I can get the preset speech working but not the free style method.
Maybe I'm missing something obvious, here is a link to some sp03 details **broken link removed**
I've used the sp03 with hardware i2c but this is the first time I have tried with this example code.
