Where do you write your notes and tasks?

I'm looking for a software where i could write comfortably the tasks i have to do, and conclusions/notes regarding experiments that i perform and measurements that i take.

You shouldnt see the yWriter as limited to scenes and characters, its a bit like a text database, if you use that way.
