what kind of pic microcontroller do i have to use?

Hi! actually we are conducting a research for a thesis and soon we will be making its prototype, i am asking for any help from anybody. I would greatly appreciate it.

the problem is, what kind of pic microcontroller I can use with an input from the cellular phone? i wish to input the characters being send as sms to the microcontroller.

Well, any PIC can do that. Most polular ones are 16F628 or 16F877, your selection depends on number of PINs your application needs.
